Los Angeles Native living in Nashville, TN, Sofie teeters between the edge of popular music with her intricate runs, while still maintaining the wholesome storytelling of traditional country music. Sofie began honing in on the craft of songwriting when she returned from her education endeavors at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. There she realized the only thing that had remained constant throughout her life; amongst the challenges of losing loved ones, heartbreak, and education uncertainty, was music. Instead of letting those challenges hold her back, she pulled from those experiences to fuel her music. Sofie’s music brings a sense of realism to the listener, inviting them into her world through the stories she tells.

In late 2019, Sofie joined forces with Dani Rose, forming the country duo Honey County. Their most recent release "CHESS", can be heard on season 4 of the hit Paramount TV show Yellowstone and has earned them Billboard's Country Rookie of the Month and high praise from The Huffington Post. Sofie and Rose continue to tour into the new year, opening for artists such as Cole Swindell, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Band Perry, and more.

Although focused on her journey with Honey County, Sofie continues her songwriting, which has landed her a placement on The Oprah Winfrey Network TV show Queen Sugar and her songs being recorded by artists such as Hunter Jordan, Lauren Ahleeza, and more. Sofie Lynn’s debut single and music video, “Rooting For You” can be found on all streaming platforms as well as her new single with Honey County “CHESS”.
