Los Angeles based with a touch of southern hospitality. Sofie teeters between the edge of popular music with her intricate runs, while still maintaining the wholesome storytelling of traditional country music. Sofie began honing in on the craft of songwriting when she returned from her education endeavors at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. There she realized the only thing that had remained constant throughout her life; amongst the challenges of losing loved ones, heartbreak, and education uncertainty, was music. Instead of letting those challenges hold her back, she pulled from those experiences to fuel her music. Sofie’s music brings a sense of realism to the listener, inviting them into her world through the stories she tells.

Her love for songwriting has opened up doors to many other avenues, including her recent join in Honey County, a Los Angeles based country music trio. Most recently playing Stagecoach’s online version ‘Stagecouch’ and Jam In The Van’s “Cinco De Mayo Festival”, Sofie has jumped head first into the girl band, releasing a new single “Woke Up Tired”: which can be heard on stations like Radio Disney Country and 105.5 The Hawk, playing many shows including the OC Fair with Cole Swindell (set to be rescheduled due to COVID 19), and being interviewed on blogs such as CMT “The Roundup” and Sounds Like Nashville.

Although focused on her journey with Honey County, Sofie continues her songwriting and pursuit of sharing her personal story with the Country music family. Sofie Lynn’s debut single and music video, “Rooting For You” can be found on all streaming platforms as well as her debut single with Honey County “Woke Up Tired”.
